Headless ecommerce store

A growing homeware store that moves to a headless storefront and keeps Shopify for products, checkout and orders.

The brief

Oddhollow Home

The brief: a homeware brand selling in three countries whose theme needs eleven apps, and whose product pages are slow on mobile.

The goal: a fast storefront with editorial content and products together, a cart drawer, and localized content for each market.

Approach

  1. Catalog audit

Map products, variants and collections, and decide what stays in Shopify.

  2. Templates

Product listing, product page, cart drawer, editorial guides and market pages.

  3. Performance plan

A budget per template: image sizes, script count and first paint on mobile.

  4. Build

Headless storefront on the Shopify Storefront API with a CMS for editorial content.

  5. Launch

Test orders in every market, redirects and 30 days of monitoring.
