Who we are

Kyvrel is a web design and development studio working from Ukraine. We decide how the personal data described here is used, which makes us its controller. Write to hello@kyvrel.com with any privacy question.

What we collect

When you send a project request, we store:

  • Your name, email address and, if you add them, your company and message
  • Your budget range, the product and options you chose, and the estimate the calculator produced
  • The promo code applied to your request, if there was one
  • The language version and page you sent it from, and the time you ticked the consent box
  • The visual style you pick after sending, if you pick one
  • Where your first visit came from, if your browser kept it: the campaign tags in the link you followed, the referring website's domain, and the first page you opened and when

When you browse

We count page views and page speed with Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, and log a few named events in our own database, such as a finished calculator estimate or a step of the project form. These records hold the page, the language, the product and, if one applied, the promo code; for a sent request also the main campaign tags, the referring website's domain and the first page you opened. They never hold your name, email or IP address, and no cookies are set for them.

To stop spam, the request form, promo code checks and the event log count recent requests per visitor. The count is keyed to a salted one-way hash of your IP address, never the address itself, and is deleted within a day.

Our hosting provider keeps short-lived request logs, which include IP addresses and browser details, to run the service and investigate abuse.

Why we use it

We use your data only for these purposes, each with its legal basis:

  • To answer your request, prepare an estimate or proposal and agree a contract: steps you ask us to take before a contract
  • To keep the site secure, prevent spam and understand which pages and channels help visitors find us: our legitimate interest in running the site
  • To keep records we must keep by law once you become a client, such as invoices
  • To load marketing tools, if we ever turn them on: only with your consent

What we never do

We never sell your data, use it for advertising profiles or make automated decisions about you. The calculator only adds up prices.

Who else handles it

A small set of providers handle data for us. Vercel and Neon process it under their data processing agreements.

  • Vercel: hosting, request logs, Web Analytics and Speed Insights
  • Neon: the database that stores project requests and the event log
  • Telegram: an internal message to our team with the details of your request, so we can reply quickly
  • Our email provider, when we write back to you

International transfers

Our team works from Ukraine, and some providers are based in the United States. Where data leaves the EU or UK, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard, and we only share what each provider needs.

How long we keep it

We keep data only as long as we need it:

  • Project requests: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted
  • If you become a client: for the length of the contract, plus the period accounting and tax law require for invoices
  • Spam counters: deleted within a day
  • Telegram alerts about a request: deleted from our team chat on the same schedule as the request, within 24 months of our last contact
  • Event log: kept for reporting; it contains no contact details

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can object to uses based on our legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at any time.

Write to hello@kyvrel.com. We reply within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS only, and access to project requests is limited to the people who handle them.

Children

This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

When we change how we handle data, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects a request you already sent, we tell you by email.
